East Penn is currently seeking a mechanical, motivated, 2nd shift, Injection Mold Setup Technician who will set up, change, and process molds for injection molding machines.

Sets up molds that weigh up to 17,000 lbs. using 7 1/2 or 10 ton hoist into injection molding machines in a safe manner.
Starts up molds to meet all parts specifications including appearance from start up sheets.
Does some repairs on molds as well as troubleshooting on the other machines.
Cleans molds at each change and cleans assigned machines at the end of shift.
Responsible for taking care of tools.
Any lifting over 50 lbs. requires assistance.
*Maintains regular attendance.
*Ability to work mandatory over time.
Performs other duties as requested.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.

READING REQUIREMENTS: Basic Reading, MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic Math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying), COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to interact with computer screens, REASONING SKILLS: Ability to evaluate, MECHANICAL SKILLS: Hand Tools, Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot startings and stopages of machinery, COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to communicate with Co-workers.
