At East Penn, we’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer I who’s excited to make an impact! In this role, you’ll help keep our battery manufacturing operations running smoothly by supporting new equipment projects, AutoCAD drawings, and collaborating with teams across the company. You’ll be part of a group that thrives on problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement — all while making sure our processes are efficient, safe, and future-ready.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience with mechanical/electrical drawings and a background in manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Strong skills in AutoCAD and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Comfort using printers, plotters, and manual measuring tools.
A basic understanding of automated equipment technologies.
Excellent communication skills — you can explain technical details clearly to non-experts.
A collaborative spirit with the ability to build relationships across teams and with vendors.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects independently.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving creativity, and a sharp eye for detail.
