Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Ergonomist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in ergonomics to enhance workplace safety, productivity, and overall employee well-being. As an Ergonomist, you will assess and analyze work environments, tasks, and tools to design solutions that minimize physical strain and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders among employees. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ergonomic policies, conduct training sessions, and implement best practices tailored to our specific operational needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ergonomics principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for improving workplace conditions. You will play a crucial role in creating a safer work environment by advising on workstation design, facilitating ergonomic assessments, and recommending appropriate interventions. Your insights will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of health and safety within our organization. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regulatory compliance with relevant standards along with management and execution of internal Ergonomics program including but not limited to training, auditing, injury prevention and control strategies.
  • Evaluation of injury/ incident rate data, workplace environments, tools and processes to identify risks and develop solutions to reduce workplace injuries.
  • Collaboration with Management, Health and Safety, Engineering and Employees regarding Ergonomic polices/ procedures, design criteria, projects and best practices to improve workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Bachelors Degree in Ergonomic Sciences, Kinesiology or equivalent degree
  • 3+ year’s experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience planning/scheduling
  • Excellent computer skills required. Excel/Access/Word and minor database administration
  • Strong communication skills, written, oral, and interpersonal
  • Attention to detail, and continual diligence about follow-up
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Well organized, with the ability to multi-task.
