Overview

East Penn is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our progressive on-site Medical Center team. This 3rd shift position plays a vital role in supporting our commitment to employee safety, health, wellness, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the on-site medical department.
  • Conduct physical assessments of injured employees and determine severity of incidents.
  • Coordinate treatment with physicians when necessary.
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations, DOT guidelines, and federal health standards; update procedures accordingly.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental hazards and employee work areas.
  • Communicate health and safety concerns to plant management and staff.

Qualifications

  • Valid PA Nursing License (RN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to quality and employee well-being.
  • Occupational Health Nursing experience preferred, but RNs with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
