Overview

East Penn is currently seeking a Compliance Data Coordinator who will be an integral part of the Legal Department, assisting the business with the growing complexity of regulations and customer expectations.  This position is responsible for managing customer surveys and questions related to the company’s compliance and regulatory practices and performance.  This includes collecting, organizing and maintaining relevant information, preparing responses, and keeping records of communications.  Topics typically include environmental (e.g., emissions), social (e.g., labor and safety), and governance (e.g., business conduct) matters. Given the potential legal implications of these requests, all activities are conducted under the supervision of legal counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for responding to customer surveys and questionnaires regarding compliance and sustainability matters.
  • Manage the customer survey and questionnaire response process, including:
    • Prioritizing inquiries to expedite response to priority customers.
    • Drafting responses using a Survey Databook of company information and data.
    • Engaging with company personnel to obtain responses for new survey questions and managing the Survey Databook.
    • Monitoring the status of inquiries, ensuring responses are developed in a timely manner.
    • Delivering prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of responses and survey metrics (e.g., response times).
  • Analyze survey frequency and topics to identify trends and patterns for process improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and prepare reports on survey trends and areas for improvement.
  • Embrace both foundational and evolving responsibilities, from essential administrative support to contributing to longer-term strategic initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in corporate compliance, communications, customer engagement, customer service, market research, or survey management preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance principles and environmental, social, and governance standards.

 

Education/Certification

 

  • Associates degree, required; Bachelor’s degree, preferred; ideally in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Data Analytics
  • A combination of equivalent level of education, training and experience may be considered
