East Penn is currently seeking a Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Inventory Analyst who will use their analytical skills to work with available system data to advise management of opportunities for cost effective inventory management.
Analyze data to support keeping or removing part(s) from inventory utilizing analytic tools such as MSR4, Excel and Power BI
Review requisition slips/requests for Min/Max adjustments and additional MRO Inventory
Uses reports to determine non-moving parts, analyze data to support keeping or removing part(s) from inventory
Adjust stock levels through optimization and relocation if necessary and communicate with appropriate departments
Works with Purchasing and Inventory Manager to determine part cost saving quantities
Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions
Evaluate lead times, usage, turns and adjustments, adjust stock as necessary
Identify O.E.M. part(s) which are readily available through alternative vendors or manufacturers
Guide inventory control person when moving part location(s)
Visually validate inventory counts for parts under consideration for change
Determine paths for disposal of obsolete and unused inventory
Responsible for the MRO inventory throughout the corporation
Other duties as requested
Experience & Qualifications
Advanced Data analyzing abilities, experience with large databases and proficient with data management
Education/Certification
Post secondary education
Data, Computers, etc.
BS in Business or Applied Sciences preferred
2+ years experience in MRO Inventory management
