Overview

 

East Penn is currently seeking a Design Engineer to support the plant and product lines with engineering skills by creating drawings, for tooling, battery components, create bill of materials, and customer layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CAD drawings using 2D and 3D software.
  • Provide support for sales, quality, manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
  • Prepare and deliver information, technical reports, and presentations to management.
  • Participate in regular technical reviews throughout all phases of a project.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Attend meetings to discuss products, processes, and problems.
  • Works on smaller projects that are less complex in nature.
  • Participate in review and approval of drawings.
  • Participate in review and author of EPM specification documents.
  • Ensure high quality of work.
  • Travel for the company as required.

Qualifications

 

    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
    • Bachelor of Science.
      • Relevant technical experience from professional career or East Penn.
      • Engineering knowledge in mechanical design.
      • The ability to propose solutions, innovate and be forward thinking.
                  Analyze data and draw a conclusion.
