East Penn is currently seeking an Application Engineer.
• Field calls and e-mails from East Penn approved sales contacts
• Provides standard technical information verbally and in document form (capacity ratings, graphs, life cycles, charging instructions, etc.)
• Completes engineering requests to obtain any additional requested information, create the documentation, and maintain the timeline to final response
• Tracking engineering requests and providing feedback to the requestor
• Tracking sample batteries and return batteries, as well as creating, maintaining, and updating published technical information
• Support other Application Engineering personnel as needed
Qualified candidates should possess the ability to perform assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in support of assigned manufacturing process operations. Working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment. Prior experience providing process-engineering support in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Specific experience should include troubleshooting, developing and designing process solutions. 4-year degree in a science or engineering field required (examples: chemistry, physics, math, electrical or mechanical).
