East Penn is currently seeking an IT Systems Engineer.

Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical systems

Build, patch, test and deploy complex systems and Enterprise platforms

Perform storage and server data backups, data migration and disaster recovery operations

Perform complex system and application upgrades

Document system upgrade and troubleshooting procedures

Design, implement and maintain disaster recovery and high availability solutions to meet company 7x24x365 needs

Provide second level technical support to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance

Provide support services after hours including nights and weekends when required

Other duties outlined by Information and Technology Management
*Maintains regular attendance
Responsible for producing a high quality product
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices

*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years System Administration experience or 10 years related experience
• Administration and deployment of VMware ESX and Citrix XenServer
• Administration of On-Prem and Azure Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Failover Clustering, and Office 365 Exchange mail
• Enterprise SAN/NAS storage platform management: EMC Unity, VNX, and EMC Isilon Pure
• Enterprise backup and recovery solutions: Networker, Data Domain, Recover Point, SRM and Veeam
• Experience with Linux operating system installation, patching, and administration
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or VMWare Certified Professional preferred
