Primary responsibilities would be cleaning and maintaining the following COS and AGM equipment:
This individual will perform “on the spot” equipment repairs such as replacing a mold heater or changing a lead pump.
They may be asked to assist a supervisor or other mechanic in breakdown situations.
May assist on equipment PM’s.
Other responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Being directly supervised by a classified mechanic being able to modify and adjust equipment for proper operation.
Repair and rebuild gearboxes and other drives, general blueprint reading, and perform some welding tasks.
Performing preventative maintenance on all machinery not running during a shift.
Other responsibilities may involve working at heights, cleaning up the work area, and running errands.

*Ability to work mandatory over time.
Performs other duties as requested by Management.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.

Literate (able to read and begin to understand equipment manuals, blueprints, etc.), general math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing), basic knowledge of hand tools, maintenance experience
