Average wages $26 per hour and up. Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.
Machinist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
CNC and Manual Mill operator.
Being proficient in interpreting terminology applied to drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions making new parts to close tolerance required in the manufacture or repair of tools, dies, molds, and machinery, all with minimal supervision.
Interfaces as needed with engineering department in regards to material selection, and design of part being machined, suggesting alternative if necessary for cost reduction and improved operation.
Mold Repair responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Mold disassembly, assembly and repair.
Electrical heater test, troubleshooting, wiring and replacements.
Replacements of internal mold parts.
Repair of mold flaws using tig welding, mold mender welding machine, rocklinizer, and other hand tools necessary to the operation.
Operate a lathe, milling machine and surface grinder.
Responsible for recordkeeping of repairs and mold tracking.
Will communicate with East Penn engineering and outside technicians.
*Maintains regular attendance.
*Ability to work mandatory over time.
Performs other duties as requested by Management.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.

Must be literate (able to read/understand various technical manuals, equipment manufacturing literature, and blue prints).
Fluent with Math and Trigonometry.
Must possess mig, stick welding and strong tig welding skills.
Machinist skills (journeyman papers a plus).
Basic mechanical/fabrication and minor electrical skills.
Some conversational machine programing preferred.
Self-motivated with attention to detail.
Must have valid state drivers license.
