Join our team at our on-site occupational health facility! We are planning to extend our clinic hours to a 24/7 operation, and we are looking to fill multiple positions. We currently have a part-time position available for an Occupational Health Nurse (RN) that will be varied hours on any of the shifts below.

 

Shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts.

 

Available shifts include:

  • Weekend shift – Sat, Sun & Monday from 4am-4pm (might consider a different weekday instead of Monday)
  • 1st shift – 8am to 4:30pm
  • 2nd shift – 3pm to 11:30pm
  • 3rd shift – 10:30pm to 7am and 9:30pm to 6am
  • Part-time hours available

Responsibilities

East Penn Occupational Health Nurses use their excellent assessment skills while triaging cases in our modern on-site facility where we treat our employees, manage all OSHA and DOT mandated physicals, and so much more!

 

The qualified Occupational Health Nurse will perform the following:

  • Physical assessment of injured employees
  • Determine severity of accidents and arrangement for treatment of employees by a physician when required
  • Keep updated on pertinent OSHA regulations and standards as well as federal guidelines for DOT
  • Remain aware of the environmental hazards located in the plant and stay familiar with employees' work areas
  • Communicate appropriate information to plant management and staff concerning issues of employee health and safety

 

Qualifications

The qualified individual must have a valid PA nursing license, current CPR certification, and excellent assessment skills. Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as a member of our existing Safety & Health Team with a commitment to quality is a must. Previous experience in Occupational Health Nursing is helpful but will consider any LPN or RN who can work well with others and has a desire to learn about this challenging field.
